Table Share was born out of the belief that no meal should go to waste. Our platform bridges the gap between restaurants, dining halls, and local food banks, offering a simple but powerful solution to redirect surplus food to those who would otherwise go without. Table Share envisions a world where the excess from one table feeds another, and where the cycle of waste is replaced by one of compassion and community.
(The Task)
Design and develop a multi-page dashboard and landing page to offer universities and restaurants a powerful solution to redirect surplus food.
(The Process)
One challenge I faced during the building of the web application was working with such a small team. With such a small team, I found myself taking unexpected roles. Although my original task was solely design work, due to time and manpower constraints, I was forced to water designs down and code much of the front-end. Although I was under challenging time constraints, the design was still able to turn heads.
